Born in 1994, Riccardo Vecellio Segate is MSc Student in European and Global Governance at the University of Bristol (UK) and MSc Offer Holder in International Public Policy at the University College London.
He authored 115+ articles in Italian and English on Public International Law, EU Law, African Politics, Middle Eastern Politics, China and Cultural Heritage for paper-based and online reviews, and he is serving the Bristol Law Review as an Editor. He has also published a poetry book presented by Márcia Theóphilo.
Riccardo attended or chaired official diplomatic-training and entrepreneurial projects hosted by some of the most prestigious universities in the world (to name just a few: NYU Abu Dhabi, London School of Economics, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, ESADE Business School, LUISS Rome, University of Exeter) as well as by leading global institutions (UN headquarters in New York, European Commission, FAO, etc.).
At the age of 20 he has worked as a member of the Field Force Team of EXPO2015, and at the age of 21 he has been selected as a Regional Head of Communication for the Youth Committee of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO. For longer than a year, he has also been Public Relations Manager of a renowned startup quoted on Forbes and located at “Bocconi” School of Management. Along with several additional appointments in organizations and companies, Riccardo has been invited as a discussant in academic conferences held at the universities of Trieste, Bologna and Verona, not to mention the “èStoria” Festival in Gorizia. Moreover, he has been awarded with dozens of national prizes in multiple professional fields.
The first part of his education pathway has been spent in the music sector, in Italy as well as abroad (Nice, Leeds, Salzburg, and so forth). During his adolescence, Riccardo has been a gifted pianist and one of the very last pupils of Aldo Ciccolini in Paris.
